Liebe Grüße rosarium🌹 Review (english) „Cormorant Run“, from J. C. Mckenzie, sounded good because of its introduction and prospect of wings.I can´ t complain about J. C. Mckenzies writingstyle. It´ s fluffy, fluid and with a enough spice between humor and seriousness, that I had my fun reading the book. I also liked the world. It was a mix between a monarchy, a fallen, dystopian wolrd and science, which created monsters and mutations. Cora was a strong, but ferocious soul and stood her ground, when things came to shoot and she had to make a choice. The sidecharcters were a little flat and could have taken up more room. And, I have to be honest, I didn´ t like the love interest. Just my prefercene, I found him nether sympathetic nor charming. And his reasons for staying away from Cora, they were not really solid in my eyes. The biggest issue I had, was with the story. When I reached the middle of book, and if you were reading carefully, I knew how it would end, who was behind everyting and how it would occur. That took the charging out of the story and made me enjoy it less. Unfortunately. So, to sum everything up. I liked the premises. But not much the story or the love interest. So I can´´ t recommend the book. I gave it 3/5🌹 Lots of love, rosarium🌹 Quelle für Informationen des Buches: Cormorant Run (Isle and Eyrie) : McKenzie, J.
