Geplapper vorne weg:<\/strong> Welches Buch hat euch zu letzt umgehauen? Da gab es in letzter Zeit so einige f\u00fcr mich. Zum Bespiel TOG 7 von Sarah J. Maas, Gild von Raven Kennedy oder auch The Beautiful von Renee Ahdieh(wozu bald auch endlich die Rezi ankommt. Ja, ich bin halt langsam im schreiben) und auch dieses B\u00fcchlein hier. Rezension(german)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

„The Shadows Between Us“, von Tricia Levenseller, ist mein erstes Buch von der Autorin, wird aber nicht mein letztes sein.
Eine funkelnde, mittelalterliche Welt, die sich nicht in einem gro\u00dfen Kampf zwischen B\u00f6se und Gut befindet, sondern teilweise wie in Geschichtsb\u00fcchern aus dieser Epoche dargestellt ist. Selbsts\u00fcchtig. Habgierig. Nach Kriegen verzehrt und auf diejenigen gerichtet, denen Macht und Spiele innewohnte. Und das, das hat mich begeistert. Das verbunden mit einem lockeren, flie\u00dfenden Schreibstil und einen eignen Anteil an Kreativit\u00e4t, und ich bekam ein super spannendes Setting. Die Geschichte ist wild, verwegen und das lag vor allem an Alessandra als Protagonistin, die nicht nur moralisch verwerfliche Sachen tat, in Grauzonen schwelgte, versuchte einen Platz in einer M\u00e4nnerdominierten Welt zu finden, sondern das auch noch aus Gr\u00fcnden, die jeder verstehen w\u00fcrde, wenn man sich einmal in ihrer Position befindet. Auch die Nebenprotagonisten kamen nicht zu kurz und waren so eingeflochten, dass sie wichtig f\u00fcr den Storyverlauf waren. Was ich ebenso liebte waren die kleinen, eingebauten Vorurteile gegen\u00fcber Frauen, Ansichten zu ihnen und gegen die Levensellers mutig gegenargumentierte.
Und das meistens mit Erflog. Warum blo\u00df meistens? Es gab da ein paar wenige Punkte, die sie blo\u00df Anschnitt, ohne richtig zu Ende auszuf\u00fchren. Also den Gedanken dahinter und somit offen blieben. Das war Schade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fazit, wow. Ich mochte das Gesamt- und das Pr\u00e4sentierpaket absolut gerne. Eine riesige Empfehlung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

„The Shadows Between Us“, from Tricia Levenseller, was my first book from the author, but will not be my last. Absolutley not.
A glimmering, mediveal world, which is primary not focused on good versus evil, but the historcial aspects and its showcasing. Wow. And thats, what hooked me onto the story. The fluid, lyrcial writing could also be one reason, why I was hooked. The story is wild, unpredcitable, awesome and that was mostly because of Alessandra, the mainprotagonist and her cruel, selfish ways of dealing with things and the reasons behind them, which anyone would have sympathized with. The sidecharacteres were also good and bonded to the story for important events. What I also loved was the judgement against women and how Levenseller just crushed them moste of the time with hard and besotten arguments. Awesome.
Why just most of the time and not all? So some points I did not agree or were fluently brought to the end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, to sum everything up, I loved it. A big, massive recommandtion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
