Geplapper vorne weg:<\/strong> Leute, mal so ne Frage… Hat sich, seit dem ihr angefangen habt t\u00e4glich zu lesen oder bloggt, eurer Lesegeschmack ver\u00e4ndert? So richtig? Wodurch wurde er beeinflusst und was f\u00e4llt euch beim Lesen auf, wenn euch etwas nicht gef\u00e4llt? Oder tut? Ihn wieweit beeintr\u00e4chtigt das auch euer Kaufverhalten? Mir ist bei dem Buch, was ich euch unten in der Rezi vorstelle, aufgefallen, dass sich mein Geschmack echt hart ver\u00e4ndert hat und ich jetzt viel mehr Gedanken darin investierte, dass zu lesen, was mehr als nur meiner Laune entspricht, sondern irgendwo auch korrekt f\u00fcr mich ist. Rezension (deutsch)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

„Stealing Embers“, von Julie Hall, ist mein erstes Buch der Autorin.
Mir f\u00e4llt es schwer, das Buch in Worte zu fassen. Deshalb fangen wir einfach Mal im Urschleim an. Der Schreibstil war super angenehm, fl\u00fcssig und lie\u00df mich das Buch innerhalb von zwei Tagen durchlesen. Emberly als Protagonistin war spritzig, sarkastisch, was manchen Situationen einen guten Humor verlieh, aber nicht gut nachvollziehbar in ihrer Entwicklung. Mir pers\u00f6nlich lief sie an einigen Stellen zu schnell und zu grundlos ab, so dass sie am Ende nicht glaubw\u00fcrdig genug war. Vor allem wenn ich bedenke, aus was f\u00fcr einer schwierigen Situation sie kam und in die sie sich einfinden muss. Die Nebenprotagonisten waren sympathisch, bekamen aber keine richtige Tiefe und blieben damit platt. Der Weltenaufbau besa\u00df seine kreativen, eigensinnigen Z\u00fcge, war mir aber an einigen Stellen etwas zu abgek\u00fcrzt beschrieben. Die Story legte am Anfang einen guten Start hin, wurde aber im Mittelteil durchzogen von einigen Plotfehlern und Situationen, auf die es keine richtigen Erkl\u00e4rungen gab. Die Offenbarungen am Ende, die kamen mir einfach zu sp\u00e4t und wirkten dadurch ziemlich weiterhergeholt und gestelzt. Der Spannungsbogen \u00e4hnelte einer Welle und war dadurch an einigen Passagen echt ungenie\u00dfbar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fazit, es tut mir weh das sagen zu m\u00fcssen, aber das Buch war einfach nichts f\u00fcr mich. Deswegen spreche ich keine Empfehlung aus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

„Stealing Embers“, from Julie Hall, is my first book from her and sounded pretty god.
Well, I do not know where to start this review, so I will just dive in and hope it will be okay. The writingstyle was good, fluid and let me inhale the book in two days. So no complains there. Emberley was a symapthetic, sarcastic protagonist and made so many moments just funny for the sake of it. But her I found her development lacking, because sometimes it was happening to fast or there was no real reason for it, that made it believable. The side characteres were also funny, symapthetic, but had no real depths and came over as flat. The wordlbuilding had its own phantastic, creative ways, but it could have been a little bit more detailed in its explanation. The story started good, but had in the middle some logicfaults and missing details and the ending left me quite dissatisfied, because the reason and solution for the mystery just came to late and made everything to farfetched. The charging was like a wave, instable and yeah, sad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, to sum everything up, I had such high expactations and was disappointed. I am sorry, but I cannot recomend it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
