„Many Punctured Wings“, von Nicolette Beebe, ist das erste Buch aus der Thin Skin – Reihe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nicolette Beebe hatte einen seichten, aber eindr\u00fccklichen Schreibstil, der einen vollkommen einnimmt und tr\u00e4umen lie\u00df. Alice und Jake sind zwei sympathische Protagonisten, die einander st\u00fctzen, helfen aufbauen und schlussendlich die Barrikaden, die sie zueinander haben, einbrechen. Die Geschichte nimmt schnell Fahrt auf, bietet Wendungen vom Thrill – bis hin zu einen Hauch Mystery und Romancebereich, was eine gute Mischung war. Das Kleinstadtfeeling war sehr erdr\u00fcckend, da es ernste Themen ansprach und auch keinen Halt davor machte, diese so zu benennen, wie sie waren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Der Spannungsbogen war gut, doch in der Mitte des Buches wurde er etwas z\u00e4h, beinahe langatmig, bis er sich fing und munter weiterlief. Was ich ebenso Schade fand, war das ungenutzte Potenzial der Nebencharaktere. Sie waren super beschrieben, aber erhielten keine so wirkliche Entwicklung und vollf\u00fchrten also immer wieder die gleichen Handlungen, obwohl sie vorher deswegen abserviert worden. Und das empfand ich als frustrierend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

„Many Punctured Wings“, von Nicolette Beebe, ist das erste Buch der Thin Skin – Reihe. Der Schreibstil war seicht und dennoch eindr\u00fccklich, was Alice und Jake als Protagonisten nur umso authentischer machte. Ihre Entwicklungen, wie sie sich aufbauten und hielten und schlussendlich die Mauern zueinander einbrachen, war aber genauso brisant zu verfolgen. Die Geschichte nimmt schnell Fahrt auf und wird bereichert mit Thrill, Mystery und Romance Elementen. Das Kleinstadtfeeling war erdr\u00fcckend, passend f\u00fcr die ernsten Themen, die das Buch erz\u00e4hlte. Der Spannungsbogen war gut, brach aber ein, zwei Mal in der Mitte des Buches ein, ehe er sich wieder hochhob. Was ich wirklich Schade fand, war das ungenutzte Potenzial der Nebencharaktere und ihre wiederholenden Handlungen, da sie sich nicht entwickelten. Fazit, toller Start mit wichtigen Themen unserer heutigen Gesellschaft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

„Many Puntured Wing“, from Nicolette Beebe, is the first book from the Thin Skin – Series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nicolette Beebes writing style is easy to read, but also full of meanings and complicated feelings. I liked it very much. Alice and Jake were sympathetic characters, which helped each other to overcome their fears, sadness and anxiety. The story was so good. It kept me hooked until the mean ending and was stocked with thrill, mystery and romance elements. The overall feeling of the book was deep, a little bit depressing and suited the story so well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The charging was good, but in the middle of the book it crashed, became a bit hard and slow, but rose again to the end. But what was rellay sad, was the developments of the sidecharacters. They had so much potenial to grow, to become better, but it just was not used and so they stayed in their unchanging ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The writing was great and depp. Alice and Jake were sympathetic, helped each other to overcome their hardships and their romance was so nice and relaxing, that it took my away. The story was great and stocked with thrill, romance and mystery, which created a nice mix. The charging was good, but in the middle of the book it crashed, became a little slow and took than off again. And what made me also sad, was the unused potenial of the sidecharacters. So, to sum everything up, it was an unusal read. You have to read it, if you are interested in it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
