\u201eAnd I Darken\u201c, von Kiersten White, ist der erste Band von der \u201eDemand the Thorne\u201c \u2013 Reihe und wurde mir von einer guten Freundin, so oft empfohlen, so dass ich dann beschloss ihn endlich zu lesen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kiersten White hat einen sehr geradlinigen Schreibstil, welcher sehr gut zum historischen Setting im Buch passte. Die Charaktere waren mir auf eine Weise fremd, sowie auf der anderen nah und \u00fcbten somit eine Faszination auf mich aus, die mich f\u00f6rmlich dazu zwang das Buch weiterzulesen, weil ich wissen wollte, wie sie als n\u00e4chstes handelten oder wie die Geschichte weiterging. Die eigentliche Story war gut umrissen und hielt mein Interesse. Der Weltenaufbau basierte auf historischen Fakten, besa\u00df aber auch den Charmes des Autors, der daraus etwas neues gemacht hatte und traf dadurch meinen Geschmack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leider war der Spannungsbogen non existent und das Buch lebte wirklich von den Handlungen der Charaktere, ihrer Entwicklung sowie der eigentlichen Geschichte. Schade, vor allem weil ich mir da viel mehr erwartet hatte. Wirklich Schade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Schade, denn in der Rubrik hatte ich mir mehr erwartet. Fazit, ein historischer Roman mit fremden Charme, eine Empfehlung Wert!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das Buch hat von mir 4\/5\ud83c\udf39 bekommen und die Reihe wird weiter fortgesetzt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

„And I Darken“, from Kiersten White, is the first book of the „Demand The Throne“ – Series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I liked Kiersten Whites straight wirting style and paired with the historical setting and Facts, it created a very unique book. The charateres were an one side cold and on the other warm, and that mix up created a fascinating dynamic between them, wich led me to consume the book. The story itself was interesting und kept my attention. The Worldbulidung was great and represented the authors own charme very good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately the tension arc was non existent and the book lived on the actions and developments from the characteres. A shame, when I think about it, because it could have been so much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

„And I Darken“, from Kiersten White is the first book of the „Demand The Throne“ – Series. I liked Kiersten Whites clear writing style, the historical setting and the unique characters, which had an unique dynamic between them. The story was interesting and kept my attention. The Worldbuilding was great and represented the authors charme very good. But unfortunately the tension arc was non existent and the book lived on the actions and develompments from the characteres. So, to sum everything up, it was an enyoing read! Definitly worth pursuing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
