Also war es ja auch dann logisch, dass ich Erwartungen an dieses Buch hatte, das mir genau das versprach: eine gute Hexengeschichte. Wurden sie aber erf\u00fcllt? Nein. Warum? Denn sie will weder auf dem Scheiterhaufen enden noch auf dem Opferalter der m\u00e4chtigen Wei\u00dfen Hexe, die sie sucht. Um sich im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes unsichtbar machen zu k\u00f6nnen, stiehlt Lou einen magischen Ring. Leider wird sie dabei ausgerechnet vom Hexenj\u00e4ger Reid entdeckt. Zwar gelingt es ihr, ihre wahre Identit\u00e4t vor ihm zu verbergen, aber entkommen kann sie ihm nicht. Denn der Erzbischof befiehlt den beiden, zu heiraten. Pl\u00f6tzlich findet sich Lou als Frau eines Hexenj\u00e4gers wieder, dem sie zudem gegen ihren Willen immer n\u00e4her kommt &#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"color:#3a096c\" class=\"has-text-color has-text-align-center has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Rezession<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201eGame of Gold\u201c, von Shelby Mahurin, klang sehr interessant auf Grund des Klappentextes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ich mochte die schlagfertigen, sympathischen Charaktere und ihre Entwicklungen. Die Geschichte war gut dargestellt und unterhielt mich. Der Actionanteil war pr\u00e4sent und toll verwoben mit dem steigenden Spannungsbogengewesen. Der Schreibstil war locker und angenehm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Der Weltenaufbau war mir pers\u00f6nlich zu mager und h\u00e4tte gerne noch etwas genauer beschrieben werden k\u00f6nnen. Au\u00dferdem waren in dem Buch so einige Konflikte, die mir zu unschl\u00fcssig waren und mich am Ende immer wieder die Frage stellen lie\u00df, war das jetzt so oder so? Wie funktionierte das nochmal und wie nicht? Au\u00dferdem fehlte es mir auch an Emotionen sowie nachvollziehbaren Gr\u00fcnden der Lovestory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201eGame of Gold\u201c, von Shelby Mahurin, zeichnet sich vor allem durch seine schlagfertigen Charaktere, einer spannenden Story und einem lockeren Schreibstil, gut aus. Leider war mit der Weltenaufbau zu mager und einige Konflikte zu unschl\u00fcssig beschrieben. Schade. Au\u00dferdem fehlte es mir an tiefen Emotionen und an nachvollziehbaren Gr\u00fcnden der Lovestory. Fazit, guter Grundstein, aber mangelnde Umsetzung.
